Me too, covered a lot of country and saw eight does. Abdolutely terrible. This same route I did last year and would see dozens if dies and six to eight bucks each morning. I talked with a rancher and he said very few deer this year and he thought it was due to lack of water in the area.

I did than into some more Javelina. I spotted them at about 300 yards and I wanted to see if the would come fighting if I called them in at that distance. Usually I have to be closer, but I didn't have anything to lose, so I tried it. Worked like a charm. I could only see about ten, but about 20 came charging in.

I video taped it with my phone and I am going to try and load it up.

So I couldnt upload the videos. i emailed sections of video to Aron and he is going to try and post them for me.

initially they are about 300 yards out, but you cant see them in video. so i sent him the ones were you can actually tell there Javelina.

They get as close as about 15' and one almost runs into my spotting scope. I think he was just going to jump into my Kifaru DT2, since his buddy was in it two days ago. Another reason to buy Kifaru, animals know that is where they belong.

I may have used one bad word, so I apologize now.

I don't know where video cuts off, but I let them get about 100 yards away as they were leaving and called them right back into to bow killing range.

I really needed to have Travis (Drhorsepower) as he has a tag left. Hopefully though he is killing today.

Oh yeah, they are like gangsters, badass when in a group, not so tough when by themselves.
