I stepped out on the porch last week before daylight to listen for turkeys. Imagine my surprise when I spotted these birds roosted less than 50 yards from the house! I watched them for about 30 minutes before they flew down. It sure makes them hard to hunt when you have to kick birds out of the way to get to your hunting spot!
