RokStok

Put a foam pad on this Rokstok and checked zero with a 10-shot group. This was a 3/16 cheek eez pad. In hindsight, I think 1/8 would have been better. New barrel still seems like a shooter!

I have one of these too, its taking some deep scratches.

It's smoother than the one UM sells. My UM one has taken damage too; night hunting.

I got the 1/4" w/ medium rings and its workable but probably a little too thick.

Alright need to remove the recoil pad and install a wood spacer I made for my previous stock. Screws are out but there was a flat black plate on my first stock, not on this one and the pad is stuck on there.

Suggestions how to get this off?

Run a utility knife between the carbon and plastic and pry gently. Stockys runs a little (or a lot) of glue around the screw holes. I ran the knife around a few times just cutting any glue that had oozed out, then slowly pried further and further alternating sides and angles.

Maybe I have a neanderthal facial structure but I finally settled on the correct ring choice for my stock. Ended up having to go with the UM highs to get my sight picture lined up naturally. Don't be afraid to try it. I see most people okay with the mediums but that didn't work for me. It's much less annoying now.

I can confirm the Neanderthal structure :ROFLMAO:

I thought it was stated that the bolt couldn’t be removed from the action while it was in the stock, but I can remove mine just fine. Am I remembering wrong?

Any chance someone has a left hand Tikka inlet Rokstok they want to sell before I sign up to wait?

They are designed such that the bolt barely has room to come out.

A cleaning rod can’t really go in, nor can you boresight.

I’ve got one that I occasionally clean (after shooting cast lead loads), and have no issues. Just a slight bend into the bore guide

Yeah, just depends how stiff your rod is and whether you’re using a bore guide or not.
