Since the initial batch of RS Lites were heavier than advertised, it makes me wonder if @Stockys has a new process/material, etc

The continued inability to efficiently produce consistent stocks makes me wonder if they have ANY process...

On my doorstep 3/12/26 (184 days)

Upon inspection, it seemed that the spacers were a little loose. As I went to remove a spacer, I discovered that the anchors were pulled out from the stock. Additionally, the spacers are stuck together. I was able to pry the butt pad off on one side but didn't go any further as to not damage anything.

Sent UM an email yesterday. I'm sure they'll take care of this, but it is pretty crappy wait past their advertised lead times and then receive something that is not usable.

I’m getting close to asking them to cancel my order. Past 120 days, shipped from Stocky’s a week ago yesterday, and I figure it should have already arrived at UM. Hoping it didn’t have a defect and needed to be sent back.

Stockys reached out to me yesterday- mine should be shipping back to UM again. Curious to see how long it’ll take to get in hand. I’m skipping cerakote so they can just drill a few holes, attach a rail and send to me.

Your spacers may not be stuck together. The have a nub and a recess that fit together so they don’t slide off on another. You can’t really unstick them until you unscrew the pad enough.

I'm tracking that. My other RS has no issues with the spacers - once the screws are loose they move freely. I could probably pry them all apart with that little flat tip.

I'm mostly concerned by the whole thing pulling out of the stock though.

The anchors in my Rokstock were also broken and I had to send back to be fixed.

The space system really isn’t great. I’m going with a longer pad in my RS Lite for that reason

Thanks everyone on the weight question, I guess I'll try calling UM on Monday, if nothing else to give them the feedback. If I find out anything interesting I'll post here.

This is all very discouraging. Im at 144 days and it’s back at Stockys due to issues. I’m not sure how comfortable I am keeping my order open at this point

I'm at day 143 and it's definitely discouraging seeing the QC issues. I'm wishing I just ordered another McMillan. I'm not sure why Stocky's can't do a quality inspection before they ship them to UM. It's a week shipping each direction.

it seems like time and time again qc and on time deliveries are a problem. We should all talk with our dollars and not support when they have continuously over promised and under delivered.

From what I can tell, the process goes like this:

1. Orders open for a batch and stay open until that batch is filled (this took 45 days for me)
2. Batch fills, orders close, UM sends email saying orders for the batch are placed at stockys with an estimated 120 day lead time.
3. 120 day estimated lead time at stockys (mine was 76 days)
4. Stockys finishes your stock, update email is sent saying your stock is on the way from stockys to unknown estimated 5 days shipping time (mine was 12 days)
5. UM sends confirmation email letting you know they received the stock from stocky's. This step requires your confirmation about paint / mods before continuing
6. UM does mods / rails / paint / etc (2-3 weeks estimated)
7. UM ships to you

Unfortunately my order was one of the orders that failed QC at stocky's, so it had a pretty big delay.
