RokStok

I spoke with UM this afternoon since I hadn’t heard from them since my stock arrived on 2/16. I was only needing a pic rail installed and 4” ARCA in front of the magwell.

They are still having QC issues from Stockys and apparently mine was sent back. I appreciate not sending a sub par stock out, but it sounds like I’m not going to have it for at least another 30 days (assuming all goes well).

Ordered 9/9.
I’m in the exact same boat with one of mine.

Yes it was an employee going rogue on rokstok SOP and wasn’t discovered until the stocks were received by UM. We halted production back in February and figured out where the breakdown occurred. We will be sending out the repaired stocks next week. I do apologize on our behalf but we’re getting it taken care of quickly.
Thanks!!

Good gravy. 2.5 years in and this is still a issue.

has anyone dropped in a rem varmint barrel in a sendero rokstock? Would like to see pics of the barrel contour in the barrel channel.

Mine arrived today. The inletting surprised me. I was picturing it looking like the shiny aluminum Accublock from the stockys website. Are they inside or something? This looks like it was just machined into the carbon fiber. What am I missing?IMG_4105.jpeg

I have a krieger in rem varmint/sendero contour that should be done within the next week. Can snap some pics when I get it. It needs to have the shank turned down to the smaller tikka dimension from 1.25" to work in a rokstok unless you open up the barrel channel in that area.

Channel in a m700 pattern will be a little different near the action though. Regardless, that's the inlet you'd want for that contour unless you want to spend time sanding.

I received my rokstok recently and was surprised as to how heavy it felt in hand. Weighed it n two separate kitchen scales, and got 38.2 oz and 38.1 oz respectively. The specs are tikka LH inlet, proof sendero barrel channel, trinity rail, two flush cups, no spacers.

From what I understand, this is at about a quarter pounder more than you would expect for this configuration. Before calling UM, I figured I'd ask here to see whether this is "within tolerance"--could it be that I got a porker? Maybe extra resin? 4-5 extra oz just seems like a lot. TYIA

I got a 700 SA platform, trinity rail, 2 flush cups, no spacers, and no cerakote. Mine measures 31oz on my kitchen scale. I also pulled a lot of the foam out of the buttstock of mine to fix some rattling foam nugget issues, but that only dropped about 1.5oz.

Since the initial batch of RS Lites were heavier than advertised, it makes me wonder if @Stockys has a new process/material, etc

That seems pretty heavy.

Just weighed one with the same config (plus spacers) at 36oz. The spacers are about .5oz each, from what I can tell.
