RokStok

Are the recoil pads glued on most rokstocks or just mine? Removed screws and had no luck popping the recoil pad off it definitely feels like it's been glued. Is that the reason they want it shipped in for spacers?

Yes, the ones I had were glued but not were earlier productions. Should be easy to remove as they started coming off on their own for me.

Was there ever a verdict on if the Rokstock was going to fit the old Montana Rifle Co x1999 actions? I know the website says Win Model 70 is a supported action, but I'm not sure if that's pre-64 like the MRC.

I received the confirmation email form wife's May order Rokstok. It is a sndero cut Tikka Lefty.

Now I am just waiting on the Tikka 223 lefty in a few months...

I got email confirmation for my April 2024 order. It is a left handed inlet with ctr dbm. Can't wait to finally try it out.

Woody went 4 for 4 in the Rokslide Cold Bore Challenge as of this morning.

Shots were prone off pack/molinator with light filled rear bag.

Seated with long Spartan bipod and backpack for rear support.

Kneeling on pack, belly on rock, bino harness removed from chest for rear rest to get enough angle, light filled rear bag slid over barrel and fore-end for front support.

And finally, prone off of pack turned 90 degrees to get low enough angle, light filled rear bag.

And on the way down the mountain two off hand shot kills at 85 and 55 yards.

It is stupid how easy these stocks are to drive from any shooting position.

We have MRC Marshall at home. Just need to source longer action screws and do some minor bottom metal inlet fitting.

Winchester Model 70 Featherweight
Classic Compact Model (New Haven built)

Are you saying you DIYed one, or that you have a actual MRC version that needs adjusted?
