RokStok

Thanks again. I assume this means that the RokStok is made to accept the factory tikka bottom and mag?

Are there other options also?
Yes, it accepts factory bottom plastic and mag just fine.

Per other users — once you start playing with some of the aftermarket bottoms, you may need shims or washers to get it situated so that mags feed right.

I just ordered a new set of bottom metal from PR Precision (I think it is going to look superb with my stainless steel Tikka). I am curious how likely it is that it would be hard to make it work with the RokStok.

Has anyone shipped a stock or other item in one of the Rokstok "this is not a firearm" "form approved" boxes? Any issues from the usual shipping companies?

I Received my February order today. I'm really glad I was able to still get it in a solid color. I guess I'm more of a subtle guy. I also want to add that their customer service was top notch. Very transparent, helpful and respond quick to emails

Which color is that?

I don’t think it would look as good with a stainless barrel, but it looks great to me with the blued one.

Looks nice but price is pretty steep compared to high desert and lumley. The high desert bottom metals I have used with rokstoks needed all of the shims for mags to click in and they sit pretty proud.

Those prices are Canuck bucks. Similar to other aftermarket bm. Manufactured in AB, also makes tikka bolts. I would be interested to see how fit is compared to the high desert.

Yes, the price isn’t too terrible in Freedom money. And it’s the only one I found that is stainless steel, not aluminum. “That there aluminum is good for pop cans and aircraft engines, not rifles and cars.”

Edit - that's mostly sarcasm. I do admit to a sentimental attachment to steel though. It pains me a bit that several of my favorite firearms have aluminum, polymer, or composite materials. At this point in my life I am not that interested in shaving ounces off my hunting rifle (unlike my carry pistol).

Both the MT and High Desert bottom metals I have fit pretty much identically. Proud of the inlet about .050 and both required .032 in shims. The oem plastic fit flush and requires no shimming. This is on a stock from the 02/2025 order.

Odd. So seems like a bottom metal mfr issue more than a Stockys inlet issue? Maybe something about the plastic stock vs Stockys changes how the BM interfaces?
