RokStok

ROKSTOK UPDATE

Hey Roksliders,

I hope everyone is enjoying their Rokstoks in the field! We've had a huge amount of positive feedback on stock shootability the more they are out in the wild.

We have been working diligently with @Stockys and they have stepped up production to fill all of your orders in a timely manner.

On May 19th at 1600 HRS PST we will re open all Rokstok orders including railed Tikkas. We need to keep Stockys busy on these and they are currently running out of our orders to produce. What that means is almost every stock ordered is here at UM or on it's way to us causing a little backlog in our Cerakote dept.

Some changes to this drop will be more limited Cerakote options with easier communication. Basically no more bare carbon or single color, both of these options tend to highlight even the smallest imperfections and like almost every other stock manufacturer, are easily disguised with sponge patterns. Providing this info is to maintain transparency with our customer base and to show that we are continually learning throughout this process.

Each stock will include 1-3 color sponge pattern at no additional charge. You can select one of the pre-designed options by number from the product or you can specify up to 3 exact H-Series Cerakote colors in the box provided. You can also still request tears beneath your sponge pattern of you'd like.

You can still opt in for full pattern, but that will increase your lead time by several weeks.

After implementing our QC card process, we have drastically reduced the number of issues reaching the customer. We will continue to learn and adapt moving forward and make this stock purchase process the easiest we can for you.

Rokstok Lite is currently finished being digitally scanned and we should see some printed versions for approval very soon. Generally afterwards its about 6 weeks total for an etched mold to be produced and then we will start testing real stocks.

As always, thank you all for your continued support of our partners including Unknown Munitions, Stockys Stocks, Salmon River Solutions, Shoot2Hunt, Rokslide, and now Unknown Suppressors!

For those of you interested, the OG drops 6/2/25, be the first to experience our over the barrel hunting can.

If we are already fingerprinted from previous suppressor buys can we do the paperwork straight through you and you send it direct?

For the remaining February orders that have not began the cerakote process yet, can we change our order from solid to a 1-3 color sponge at no up charge when the cerakote department calls to confirm? Or is this only for future orders?

I have the same question. Still waiting on all 5 that I ordered in February, as well as one that I have on a rifle build order that was placed a year ago.

I’ve been a good little boy and haven’t nagged, but this would be a nice reward for the long wait.

I would like to know this as well since I chose a single color cerakote and have not received any communication yet.

Just got the QC call today. Cody offered the sponge paint as an option. I said go for it.(y)

I will say that as much as waiting sucks, every time I have called UM (for various projects, not just the Rokstok) I have gotten someone on the phone who is helpful and knowledgable. That seems to be a rarity these days with a lot of companies. Kudos to them for that.

Same story here, thanks Cody!

Has anyone gotten their CTR inlet rokstok to feed yet? I’d like to know if I’m an idiot before I annoy Jake et al.

With the AtlasWorx bottom metal conversion from CTR to AICS, the rounds are presented substantially too low to be picked up. I then shaved down a t3 bottom plastic and those rounds from the factory plastic magazine were presented too low as well. I believe those inlet heights to action were designed to be identical, so I’m leaning towards an inlet issue - but please let me know if that’s not the case.

Best,
-J
Mine feeds fine.

Just got my august order... Just a heads up, don't get tactical grey. I am disappointed with how my paint job came out. The stock I got this time last year (now owned by @mxgsfmdpx) in the tear pattern looked great.... this one, not so much.

EDIT: Some of this I believe was difference in terminology between the "old" cerakote crew, and the new one, as well as just some misunderstanding. I emailed UM and they are going to touch it up. Amazing customer service as always.

Just got my august order... Just a heads up, don't get tactical grey. I am very disappointed with how my paint job came out. The stock I got this time last year (now owned by @mxgsfmdpx) in the tear pattern looked great.... this one, honesty looks like crap. Yes, it is just as sparkly and reflective in real life as it looks in the photo. It's supposed to be Tactical Grey Base, OD Green Fades, Black Splatter.

I hate to be a winer, I am just a little disappointed after a 6 month wait.
