RokStok

For anyone that owns a Tikka LEFTY Rokstok, were there any limitations when placing the order with added accessories that were only avail with a righty?

Also - with the integrated front rail options - which do you prefer for hunting? Picatinny or Arca.

Pretty sure the only rail option is the trinity at this point

Railed tikka ordered 4/29/2024 arrived today. Originally scheduled for March but the stock cracked on rail install. Cody was great to work with and was incredibly transparent and helpful. Warranty stock from stockys took about a month to replace and then cerakote, etc. With the updated stock I thought I would re do the paint idea and I love green but keep seeing orange everywhere thanks to @mxgsfmdpx I think it turned out great

Maybe try moving your scope further forward before trying higher rings. I have mine fairly far forward in UM lows. From pictures it looks like others with a maven have it with the turret almost touching the front ring.
Thanks for the tip, that scope is setup for my 223 in a bravo so I’ll have to make do until I get an extra optic.

This is the way.

These are all mounted with UM Lows and scope actually moved back a bit after spacers installed. I have a couple others mounted in UM Mediums, switching between them is no biggie at all.

I must have close to 50 different shooters on these rifles and only two shooters had issues shooting the guns from field positions (both were glasses wearers and one was an inexperienced rifle shooter).

It's about 50/50 on folks wanting mediums and lows. Only folks I've seen need/want highs had less than ideal head and body positioning behind the gun or were very large humans.

I finally got some time behind mine that came in the initial order. It only took me a year or so to get it mounted. I tried when it came in but it needed a significant amount of material removed forward of the recoil lug to get the action to seat. I have one of the now "limited edition" bare carbon so the fit might be fixed for newer stocks.

In short, I'm pleased with the ergonomics but might need some spacers for my ape arms. I have low rings on the action it's currently in and find it comfortable for now but I may adjust or try medium in the future, especially if I run a check pad/pack, which I prefer for hunting.

Based off my limited time behind the rok stok I'd like to purchase another for my new build.

I hesitate to ask this on Rokslide, but will the Rokstok fit a Savage model 11? I have one in 308 that I would like to shoot more long range with.

I guess my other option is to sell it and start over with a T3x in 308.

My buddy had one ordered for a long action savage and they emailed him saying they couldn’t make it work for long action, but I believe short action savage is fine.

Edit: from their website:
Savage inlets only work with Savage 110 Ultralight rifles.

I saw that about the 110 ultralight. I get confused with all the Savage variations.

I also emailed Stocky's about their VG2 stocks for Savage.

@Unknown Munitions you guys should post all the rokstocks you've done in
@Unknown Munitions you guys should post all the rokstocks you've done in the gallery. That way it gives folks a better idea of what the actual patterns look like on the rokstocks.
there is this as well, doesn’t get much love, not sure why, maybe it will get more popularity
