On here for a $350 markup

Could you send me a link? I will ban them.

Im not saying it’s ethical or that I agree with it but I thought there was a big push for the classifieds to “regulate themselves” on pricing?

Not trying to open a can of worms but seems inconsistent to ban someone because they have something unattainable and pricing it high to see who will buy it. ie basically every SWFA 3-9 and fixed 6x that are being listed well over what they are sold for new

I see that point.
Let the market decide just like the other overpriced listings. Have to admire the cajones on the seller with the traction in this thread had to know your post would get noticed.

Not sure why UM dropped those stocks. But I think it was to fill the need of people waiting and not some flippers.

Agreed.

Wasn’t the way I was raised but unfortunately they are out there. On the flip side of that there are those willing to support it and buy things for twice the price. The cycle continues

Why does it even matter? If somebody is willing to pay and the seller and buyer are both happy great. If nobody is willing to pay then it doesnt sell. If all “over priced” sellers were banned there would not be many members left after the pandemic. Seems like letting the market decide is the most American way.

Bold move trying to flip the Rokstok for an extremely inflated price on the the platform that is owned by a Rokstok creator. I got no problem with a guy trying to do it (although I would hope people don’t actually purchase it to incentivize the behaviour), but I also sure as heck don’t see any problem with that guy getting a vacation (permanent or otherwise) from the community. Quite the contrast to many members here who have offered to ship their Rokstoks to other members for use while they wait for theirs.

It’s an online community of hunters. You don’t need to maximize your profits from every community you participate in.

Agreed.

@h2so4 passed his to me at cost, literally not 1 cent more than UM charged. After he made the offer, I sent him a knife I had laying around as a thank you, but he offered and payed the shipping on that.

Anyway, just thought I would call out sold behavior.

I dont see the point in punishing the guy for trying to make a profit. The U.S.A. was built on capitalism. Those 12 or 13 non railed rokstoks lasted several hours before selling out. I could have bought one when there was 7 left but I needed a sendero contour and didn't feel like opening the channel so I didn't buy one.

It has been a few weeks so there should be at least 15 more that have been produced thus far and will be available soon.

It'd be nice to see Roksliders not price gouge their fellow community members. I bought 2 of the SWFA 3-9 a couple years ago. I sold both of them here for retail, including shipping. It just doesn't feel good to make a profit on items like that. But to each their own.
