If a guy wanted to swap from Arca Pic to Spartan Pic (I’ve convinced a couple shooters to go this route) are we able to order and swap the adapter out?

Where can I read on a comparison of the Rokstok VS Rokstok Lite? Pros and cons …I like the weight savings but still want recoil management first @Formidilosus?

I don't think anywhere. All I recall is it was mentioned in the future there would be a lite version and Ryan replied it was a 2025 thing. So you'll just have to wait till things evolve. In the meantime either get a rokstok or "run what ya brung".

Bare carbon is now $80 more than single color Cerakote. This is inline with most other stock manufacturers. Some of those manufacturers don't even offer bare carbon. The smallest cosmetic defect out of the mold can make the stock undeliverable to a bare carbon customer.

Will there be an option to just order carbon "as is" for DIY painting in the future? I'm one who would order bare carbon don't care about "imperfections" but also wouldn't order a single color cerekote. Seems like this option would free up a serious amount of prep and time.

They stated in the video that blems may be available after all orders are filled but they wouldn’t be a big discount and would probably go quickly.

I'm not talking about "blems" I'm talking about just getting the stock that's assigned to your order and forget the prep and forget the $80 upcharge, to me this is absolutely no different than everyone that called to charge there cerekote colors once ordered.

Blem's in my opinion are stocks that are returned and maybe show wear or marks, Dont sell because a canceled order after finsinished, have been finished wrong, and/or have been sitting/in inventory etc.

Mine had nothing worth noting, I’m very happy with it, and have to physically look to find any imperfections.

You have to understand how picky and petty some people are, you have read it here plenty.

UM has no idea what type of character they are shipping the next stock to, and it may be someone like you or I, or it could be a person that will spot the smallest imperfections and get on the internet and bitch about it

I wish I would have had a little more context when Jake contacted me about my stock, I would have told him to ship someone else my “turned out better than some” LE green stock and send me one that you don’t want to ship someone, because if it’s structurally sound, I don’t care, but there is no way for them to know if the stock is going to someone picky or not

I’m also not very picky about the texture either, but I will say, the grip and forend texture is bad ass, I see why they worked hard on that…. It’s a wicked stock and I’ll be ordering a second soon, worth the wait, and mine is fine with UM low rings, don’t need mediums myself

I guess we’ll see with different positional shooting, but I think I’ll keep lows on, and I have a pair of mediums sitting here just in case

Yeah, no timelines have been given however in the Unknown Munitions update above he says most rail-less tikkas have been delivered, so maybe that would be a quicker route. I'm waiting for a rail-less Tikka from Dec. 21 which I assume was held up by spacers. I'm crossing my fingers that mine will be in the batch with spacers referenced by Ryan shipping next week.

@Unknown Munitions I ordered a LE stock. If I switch to something different would stay the same place in the queue? Are the LE being produced at a slower rate than the black? How about the 2-3 option cerakote?

I think you're right. Mine had it as well. To me it just appears to be part of the carbon layup process under the coating. It's not a physical line you can feel or anything. I've had a ton of carbon stocks and sanded down a lot of painted carbon stocks and I don't think people realize you see the angles and overlap and layup process pretty easily with bare carbon. To me it's part of what makes carbon look so cool! Absolute non issue here.

Sako uses a carbon sock layup method, which leaves no seams. It’s pretty cool. But yeah, I wouldn’t have an issue with the way UM stocks look unpainted. But for a hunting rifle, I prefer a dull earth tone paint to carbon anyway.

The stock has to be counterbored because the rail is "flush" so the spartan portion is below the bottom of the rail.
