I figure with my luck they will open it Saturday, or Sunday, or Monday and I will be freezing in the woods with no cell service.

I feel ya there. I was out of cell service yesterday until about 2, and today and tomorrow I’ll be on the ocean until the afternoon, then I’m not sure

I don’t have much down time when I’m working either, but the days are not that long this time of year

It’s particularly hilarious given most of us have like 9 months till hunting season and it’s not a limited or discounted run. I think folks are just excited about it and that’s pretty cool.

I wish I could do videos,memes, etc. but last nite I was watching a rerun of big bang theory an they were trying to get comicon tickets. It matches up perfectly. 4 grown men sitting around clicking refresh on there computer screens as fast as they can hit the button. lol.

This is just a quick model of the Rokstok I did to exhibit the features here. The rail, and the cutout in the rail are accurate.

The top of the rail will be flush with the main surface of the fore end. its 4.2" OAL, with bolt spacing of 2.75". The end of the picatinny section will match the shape of the end of the stock.

Look at the photo for corresponding #'s

1. (2) 10-32 fastening points
2. QD cup
3. 1.125" of arca rail
4. 1.82" of picatinny rail

Couple question for @Unknown Munitions

Is there an image of the scalloped forend, naked without the SRS rail on there?

Where exactly would the front left QD cup sit on the stock?

Any pics/drawings of the non-scalloped forend?

I will order stock(s) regardless, just deciding how exactly I want my rail set up because I am a picky fart and need my sling attachment no more than 2in back from the forend or it drives me nuts.

Sorry I'm not scrolling back through the thread to quote but it was mentioned so when you're using a rear bag the rifle recoils directly backwards instead of being pushed up or down by an angle on the bottom of the stock.

Ok I can see that, but doesn't it take away the ability to use the rear bag as a means to bring your sight picture up and down?

I mean if I had to pick between the two, if pick shot spotting everytime but im just curious why its a straight 90 degrees instead of say 80 or 75 from toe to grip

If you want to move your sight picture, use a wedge shaped rear bag.

I am having difficulty picturing a wedge shaped bag working with a parallel to bore stock bottom to move the butt up or down at any spot other than right on the toe. What am I not thinking of?

I have chassis rifles with flat rear bag riders and really struggled with them in the field. I ended up 3d printing an angled bag rider to make adjustments easier.

Thats what I was thinking, its been a long day at work and my brain isn't going full speed right now but even with a wedge wouldn't you need a contour or angle? Otherwise you are just contacting the same surface area/high point on the bag the whole time as you go forward and back..Unless you solely use the bag right at the toe and not fully supported under the stock

Exactly my concerns, only way to make a wedge work would be right at the toe and not fully supported under the weight of the rifle. Unless I'm missing something too
