RokStok

What cartridge u shooting? How much of a difference did it make on recoil reduction?

It's a 6mm-7prc w/can & brake. Maybe a little reduction in felt recoil, but it doesn't recoil much anyway. The biggest thing is, now it's just about the perfect length for me.

I have a tikka in a rokstok, but I’m constantly trying to improve my dads x bolt. While I prefer my tikka I much prefer the x bolt action than any 700 or howa I’ve felt. Doesn’t want to bind and feeds/ejects without drama.

Plus the rear tang safety is the best factory safety usability wise I’ve felt.

Double Mollinator on backpack and Jellyfish for rear bag. Easy button 1,000 yard gun :p

5 different shooters made consistent hits with this gun in 5-15 MPH varying winds on 2 MOA targets from 400-1,000 yards on Saturday.

I really liked that stock. The feel of it, and obviously the looks, were great. If you are on the fence about getting the wood I would say go for it.

I see a couple pages back there was some lop and pad talk.

As far as Wood Rok's are concerned, Pachmayr grind to fit Decelerator pads are now standard unless requested otherwise.
The grind to fit pads are fitted before the finish is applied up to the rubber for a more appealing seamless finish.

The regular Rokstok will be the 1" pad.

The Lite will be the .6" pad.

LOP needs to be specified at time of purchase or asap so I can cut the wood accordingly.

Here's one about to be released into the wild.
