Just got back from California A-Zone, and I was excited to get an opportunity to see if all my practice would translate into a successful harvest ... The one critical thing the "Rokstok + Maven RS 1.2 + UM Tikka Rings + S2H U" does not help with? Materializing a legal buck ... Needless to say "spikes, does, and fawns" are very plentiful ...
Obviously they were all aware of what a killer a fella is likely to be if he's toting an RSRSRSS. Legal bucks are bound to go nocturnal with that guy roaming the hills.

I’ve got it all dialed in other than shoot2hunt university. Need to see if I can make this happen for 2025. How do you sign up for this?

LOL. That doe and 2 fawns today that walked right up on me didn’t seem too worried

Just getting ready to order a set of the UM rings for an rs1.2, assuming I need the mediums or can you get by with the low?

Lows work great for some people but with the Rokstok I needed the mediums

I wouldnt mind getting a rokstock though likely will use the factory stock for a bit. Think still get the medium anyway?

With the rokstock I couldn’t use the lows… yes I could get into the gun fine but at the range I would push my face into the stock sometimes and cause groups to open up left and right

I don't yet have a Rokstock, and use rings higher than Form (for example) recommends. I've found the mediums work great on a factory Tikka stock and a carbon stock that is similar to the Stockys VG; with highs for use with a Bravo stock and 34 mm tube scope for a more upright head position for field / comp shooting.
