Rokstok Lite

I'm fairly certain they said either in a thread or on the podcast that they'd have about 100 or so on hand for the first round. So unless that is a false memory, it's not my fault my expectations were high haha. Maybe now, I will just have low expectations regardless of what is said.

i saw it being asked earlier in this thread but nobody responded with confirmation of anything.

No, and now that I went and looked on the site my order doesn’t even show on my list of orders. Got the confirmation email, so hopefully all is well.

I just checked and mine doesn't show on my list of orders. I did receive a confirmation email. Maybe neither of us were logged in when we ordered?

Normally I don't fret about when a placed order will arrive. I've gone through enough orders to understand the invalidity of timelines, always have something in the works, and I'm patient. I am wanting to get hands on the Lite version before making a decision on a wood lite version for a different rifle and inlet...which does have me wanting hands on this one quickly.

Same. Want to put hands on the lite and find the LOP I want etc before I put the money down for pretty wood.

Hello Roksliders,

I wanted to jump on and provide an overall update about everything Rokstok Lite.

Ordering Process: Covering order numbers, oversold status, and all the other mentioned concerns about orders placed. I opened up the website for orders on Thursday morning 2/12. I had no way to separate Tikka from Howa etc. with independent quantities so I chose to open the product up and wait until Tikka hit our max number and turn it off. 137 stocks sold, all but 14 were Tikkas. Stockys started with about 40 Tikka stocks on the shelf ready for inletting. We have not sold any more stocks other than for our UM builds. We will not open up any more sales until Stockys finishes production on these stocks. Order numbers range from 220025-220148. Some orders were more than one stock.

Weight: I am told there were some variances in weight for the few stocks we brought to the show. The first 3 that were made while I was at Stockys were 24 ounces with butt pad. I have asked Jessica Brown not to send any Lites that were more than 23 ounces without pad. Our grind to fit pad weighs less than 2 ounces before install. So all in all, the weight should be 24-25 ounces across the board. All posted weights are without a rail.

I will login here again tomorrow to answer any additional questions you guys may have.

Thank you all for your support!

@Unknown Munitions for tomorrows Q/A:

-I personally am A-OK getting a heavier than advertised stock if it means having it sooner than later.

-Can you also talk about 1” thick grind to fit Pachmayr pads? A number of us have emailed the shop about seeing if this can be added to our order notes.

Thank you for keeping us informed.

Thanks for trying to quell the conspiracy theories. I ordered a Howa Mini Action stock and will order more if I see marked improvements over the current stocks I have on them.

I also presume this is sendero inlet also and folks should expect more weight for 3b or factory sporter (tikka) inlet? It seemed like the sporter inlet was 2.3oz heavier than the sendero tikka from a couple show stock examples with the sendero tikka being close to your target.

Weight from 2 unpainted stocks from the show:
25.3oz tikka sendero no rail
29.2oz tikka sporter with the 6" pic/arca rail (SRS lists that rail as 1.6oz).

On those examples looks like the sporter vs sendero channel increases weight ~2.3oz

Speaking of the sporter inlet, I assumed I'd need to sand it out but there is alot of clearance in the rokstok lite.

Jake @Unknown Munitions

Thanks for putting the 23 oz spec limit in place. We know you’re a weight-weenie at heart 😉

-Can you tell us more about the spacer system for LoP adjustment on the RS Lite?

When do you think the first rs lite orders will ship?

Questions for Q&A:

1) Can you please share a picture of the 6" flush arca rail

2) For the 6" flush arca rail is the stock altered or inletted in any way, i.e. if I don't like it can I take the rail off and have a no-rail stock without defect?

3) I paid for 2 flush cups even though I ordered the 6" flush arca rail. Can you go over what rail options come with what in terms of sling studs or what needs to be added on for 2 flush cups total and who do I contact for order changes or prices paid updates if I even bother?

4) If one asks for a 1" grind to fit pad instead of the 1/2" pad and also orders a LOP spacer kit, will the screw lengths of the spacer kit be thrown off from the extra 1/2" on the recoil pad?

5) Is there any option for a flush 2" arca rail on the foreend instead of only 6" coming in flush?

6) pods8 shared a pic above of a Tikka lite sporter inlet and it looks to have plenty of clearance. I ordered a 3b Ace inlet specifically because I paid for a cerakote pattern and do not want to have to do any sanding to the cerakoted stock. Can you confirm if the sporter inlet was designed to be ineletted with plenty of clearance or is it a better bet to put a Tikka Lite contour in a 3b Ace inlet for proper clearance on each side of the barrel and below the barrel.

Thank you

I feel the same and would be happy to take one of the stocks that is a few oz heavier than expected as long as it is functional.
