I do.Spill the beans - do you have a flush fit mag that will let you take advantage of that balance point?
They can only fit 2rds though (looking like 3rd of 223 if it protrudes 2-3mm vs truly flush, still dialing that iteration in).

Is that a Lite with a longer fore end? 16” barrel?
kind of, it's what I call a hybrid. part Rokstok, part lite. The comb is Rokstok standard, toe raised ½" like the Lite.Is that a Lite with a longer fore end? 16” barrel?

Forend is 1" shorter instead of 2". bottom of forend raised ⅜" instead of ½".
14.5" barrel w/OG6.5

not in the puritan fashion, just a few with the premixed stuff from Brownells.@longrangelead . You ever do any “red oil”? Went down a rabbit hole on British stock finishes.
TBF that wide brim hat goes pretty hard! This belongs in the "School Me On Wool" thread, sir.

The black maple hybrid gun rocks. I didn't realize it had grain visible until I saw the other pics. Nice work.
Where can I see more pics of that beauty
I've had a ton of questions on this stock so I'll post more pics and info.Where can I see more pics of that beauty

That hits close to home! This belongs in the "School Me On Wool" thread, sir.

Wow. One of the nicest stocks I've ever seen, the fact that it's wood is mind blowing. Thank you for the picsI've had a ton of questions on this stock so I'll post more pics and info.
it's curly Maple dyed black with a poly finish.
I was going for a ghost flame look where the curly grain was subtle but popped in sunlight.
Also of note:
earlier I said the forend was 1" shorter than the Rokstok. I checked and actually cut it off again at the Lite length so I could get a finger between the stock and suppressor. 14.5" barrel/OG 6.5

it has a slight purple hue up close in bright sun but looks black otherwise.
For a "let's see what happens" blem stock, it came out better than I expected.
I honestly didn't think it would get a second look because it's black and so is the carbon one.Wow. One of the nicest stocks I've ever seen, the fact that it's wood is mind blowing. Thank you for the pics
no pics of other colors...@longrangelead do you have any other colors in the pipeline (or in the past) that you could show pictures of?
Specifically any grey walnut and stainless?
I had something similar to the old “weatherproof” ruger m77 in mind.no pics of other colors...
grey walnut? dyed, weathered or bleached? not sure what you mean by grey...

That's the exact rifle that I had in mind from your description, the Tikka I posted just showed up first on googleI had something similar to the old “weatherproof” ruger m77 in mind.

Basically to make a long story short, I’m trying to decide between sourcing my own laminate blank, vs ordering a rs lite later in the year.
