I've already got the HNT26. And the XLR Element 4.0mg. And a Rokstok. I'm just waiting to see how light the Rokstok Lite comes in at to decide between that and the Versa.I forgot there is a rear stud also, i dont use a sling so i remove all studs, there for flush cups are irrelevant to me
the peak 44 bastion, Rokstock light, etc ship basically the same unless you ordered with accessories installed. It’s just a base line weight.
obviously via your post you should buy the $1500 MDT 26 or step up to the Echlon versa ultralight @ 958 plus as it’s only 14oz’s out of the box. Echelon is lightest I’ve seen.
I think the Rokstock light if around 22oz or less with a palm swell stock would be a great price point
I don’t think at the roklite price point it will beat Versa weight wise, if it does it will be a steal. I don’t see them sacrificing to much durabilityI've already got the HNT26. So you add an OTM style suppressor and the balance probably pulls back a little more. I have an 18' build in process.17in barrel. Balances right in front of the magazine. It balances and carries much better than the factory stock.
Can you send a pic? I'm working on this same setup and wondered if the RS1.2 might feel too bulky for a trainer.
Love that cerokoteHere is mine.
Its not bad and currently set to be an exact clone of my larger rifle which makes a ton of sense as a trainer.
It just got me also thinking given so little recoil that a lighter sleeker version sure would be nice. And I generally dont use the scope at higher power settings so if I can save some size and weigh there it might make sense. Im actually not so sure my fixed 6 is much smaller or lighter anyway though now that I think about it.
