$1800.00 ? Damn it, I wish that wasn't so expensive. Nice looking stock, but too rich for me.
@Unknown Munitions — is “tikka” the T3x or T1x inlet?Just swapped a few messages with Jake.

as far as wood stocks, I can do both.@Unknown Munitions — is “tikka” the T3x or T1x inlet?
it's not as simple as it seems is it!I'm learning to appreciate the work @longrangelead puts into making a stock. I used to think the wood rokstok price was expensive before I built my first stock, now its looking like a bargin haha.
Nope! Thanks! These first two I drilled in a solid carbon fiber dowel through the grip area to reinforce it because I didn't want to split the curly maple and add another layer. I'm hoping it holds upit's not as simple as it seems is it!
Yours looks pretty slick tho!
Oh baby got a Kimber inlet listed! Don’t give up on us Kimber guys - I just got save my pennies up. Also - question on the wood with your stock designs is their any benefit other than looks to maple vs walnut, and/or plain vs fancy?Just swapped a few messages with Jake.

No real advantage to one or the other aside from looks other than Walnut varies in density enough it may be much lighter than Maple.Oh baby got a Kimber inlet listed! Left is Plain Walnut, center curly walnut, right Claro Walnut (also fancy)Oh snap..
@longrangelead when you get some done, could you share pics of regular vs. Fancy walnut?
Also looking forward to seeing the DBM solution for an 84M. That’s what really interests me, and I really like walnut stocks.
Perfect, thank you!Left is Plain Walnut, center curly walnut, right Claro Walnut (also fancy)

I wish I wasn't so likely to destroy my gear. I'd love a fancy walnut.Left is Plain Walnut, center curly walnut, right Claro Walnut (also fancy)
Eh, I have a rifle with a fancy curly maple. It's got quite a few beauty marks. (character).I wish I wasn't so likely to destroy my gear. I'd love a fancy walnut.
I get it. I used to think that way too. I still have one rifle that is a fair weather rifle.I wish I wasn't so likely to destroy my gear. I'd love a fancy walnut.
Can you slightly deviate from the Rokstok (Lite) design with a wood stock?I get it. I used to think that way too. I still have one rifle that is a fair weather rifle.
that being said, we don't hesitate to take a $2,000 scope out in the rain or snow.
wood can be refinished...
if you're not unnecessarily rough with it, wood can last a lifetime.
As far as wood, the same, they may not be completely flush though. I'll work that out once I do a railed lite. How will the rail options be integrated?
