Hey guys, first time reloader here.

I have a new tikka T3x ctr in 6.5 prc that has been chopped to 20” for some hunting. I worked up some loads from 56g-59g of h1000, lapua brass, federal 210m primers and 150ablr’s. I’m seated 55” off the lands and these are my results so far. Wondering which charge you guys would chase? Ended up having to switch ranges for the last two charges too so unfortunately not identical environments. I was thinking either the 58 or 58.5 (maybe somewhere in between) and seating deeper as I’ve heard this like to be .100 off or so. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I agree somewhere in the 58.0-58.5 range is what I’d pursue. Could try the middle of it if you wanted.

I don’t know what you’re trying to get out of this rifle/load. You have a sub MOA 5 shot group at an acceptable velocity for 150s (could try 10 if you wanted to please all the Rokslide folk). Idk what the individual shot velos were, but at 2750 avg, I plugged in 2725 and 2774 (49 ES with a 2750 average) and you’re talking about a 1.5” impact difference at 500y between those two. If you’re shooting to 1k+, sure, tighten up. But for my needs the load you have, as is, would work for me
