Congrats Ryan, did you shoot those hard horns on the same trip as the one in velvet, or a different trip?

Same trip, we only saw two buck with velvet. The other was a no nut buck that keeps its velvet for a long time.

Idono how I missed this thread, I am too focused on the mule deer section I guess. But after looking through the pages I'd have to agree with Robby, a bunch of "non badass hunters" make up the rok staff lol! Congrats on all the 2016 success, hope 2017 is just as good to you all!

One thing is for sure, Juan. With your bucks this year you have forever earned "Badass Hunter" status, brother!

I hope your 2017 is just as good as well!

Haha thanks Matt, but I am just an overly blessed guy doing the best with what I got who gets lucky from time to time! But I'll take it, and I can only wish my 2017 is half as good to me as 2016 was but one thing is for sure, I can't wait to hit the hills in search of big velvet bucks. I just hope the winter doesn't take a huge toll on the deer and elk, it's shaping up to be a bad one!

Humble for sure, Juan.

But you don't fool me! There are plenty of us blind squirrels in the woods, but I have seen right here on Rokslide just how much effort you put in!

I drew A turkey tag in Nevada this year after 7 long years of applying. I joke it's the hardest tag to draw in here and it's the semi truth! Well being we don't have a lot of turkeys nor have I ever hunted them, this weekend trip turned into a long week! I'm the only 1 of 5 that harvested that I know of and I have a whole new level of respect for Ryan's favorite animal!

I was able to have the whole family and my 7 year old sat in the blind with me for a couple days but it just got too cold for her.

Travis that is really great, and with a bow. Pretty rare event for NV I'd guess.

Yes it is robby! 5 tags and sub 50% success rate in past years. This year added an extra challenge as the river they hang by was flooded.

Awesome pictures Travis! But turkey hunting is still gay:)
