Was flipping through boob tube after work and came across Luke and Beccas goat hunt on outdoor channel. Hell of a job guys! To top it off Becca was sporting a Rokslide hat. Looking forward to part 2

Normally Becca being on boob tube would concern me...but in this occasion I guess I'll give it a pass..

Yep we are both on there and I think we both sport RokSlide hats at some point through the episode....hope you guys enjoy the show and don't think we come across as total goobers. :D Is what it is at this point, just doing what we love......I leave for a mountain goat hunt tomorrow morning at 4:00 am....we'll see how that goes....

Lol! And that makes the best television man... keep it up and good luck on your upcoming hunt!

Come on i know someone is about to post the link...

AK outdoors TV does not have his episodes on line. You can see clips on his YouTube Chanel or FB. Now that he has an outlet through Outdoor Chanel basic cable there is more control over the clips. It's good that his show has a national audience now. Next year there should be an awesome youth sheep hunt.

That is awesome. Look forward to watching it and hopefully seeing additional Roksliders make the big time.

Big thanks for the link. I must have been running right around it. One thing i got to get off my chest. I am clearly not a goat hunter and i am not even scared of heights but holy smokes you guys and becca are nuts!!! cant wait to watch the whole thing and who knows maybe i will make a goat hunter yet. ;)

Thanks guys, really glad you enjoyed it. It was kind of fun for me to relive last years trip in the first episode, especially as we gear up for another goat hunt next week. Since we will be in the field some of you may see part 2 before we do.

Don't know that I would call it making the big time, pretty much just doing what we do only with the camera guy along. I hope it was another way to share our love for hunting Alaska with other folks....neither one of us is quitting our day jobs :)

Caught episode one on the outdoor channel last night, very cool! I will have to keep a lookout for the second episode.

I still think it's pretty awesome and I hope to see more of it. You two are examples of hunters doing it the way it should be done and I think it benefits the community as a whole to see that there are hunters out there that (with the exception of the gear) are doing it the same way it was done a thousand years ago. I truly love backpack bowhunting but you should see the looks I get when other hunters down here in Texas find out I don't shoot whitetails over a corn feeder while watching football in a box blind. Any TV show, forum, book, magazine or whatnot that shows hunters on DIY hunts, is IMHO, a very good thing.

Just saw the show, awesome. I can't wait for the next one. Luke and Becca, you two are excellent examples for the DIY Hunter. You guys inspire me, thank you.

Watched part 1 with my daughter. She did the typical teenager morning grumpy blaw talk until I pointed out that her green puffy coat used to he owned by the woman on the show, and there was Becca wearing the coat on screen.

"You know her?"
"I have met Becca and have had several conversations with her and Luke about hunting and gear."
"You know people on TV!"

She watched the whole show with me. Kind of funny at times what kids place value on.

Her feed back is Becca has a good screen presence and is relatable.

We are anticipating part 2.
