I haven't been on the full site for a bit so didn't realize there was a contribute area now. I'll be donating. RS has taught me so much and probably cut my overall costs because it's cut my learning curve dramatically, though I might never have known I needed top tier gear...but I digress. The dynamics have changed in the last few years but still the best hunting forum out there by far.

It just went up today. You can only see it on full site/desktop mode.

Great I'll contribute.

For my two cents worth. I'm on a forum that went to paid access for certain content, it defeated the purpose and drove down membership.

I'm also on a forum that had a classifieds and that's where 99% of their headache came from, they took it away and then brought it back with a $1 fee per ad deal, that also drove down the amount of sales and ultimately membership too.

For all the people who come here to get the information of pros and newbies don't do mistakes are benefitting hand over fist, RS has helped me immensely and I see no problem with putting up a section for contributions.

For anybody that thinks it's weird for a site that you frequent and take stuff away from and benefit from buying and selling here remember that nothing is really free. Someone is paying for it and we should be helping. I don't know Ryan but judging by his skill set I don't think he needs RS to make him money so that's not the goal.

Thanks for listening.

Just donated myself...think this route is much better and less intrusive, might not get as many donations but probably bigger ones this way.

I'm new here but the PayPal button on the side was cool, the problem I seen with it was having how much was contributed by each member underneath. I creates this keeping up with the Jones mentality. I'd hate to see an argument over I contributed more then you did so I should get the info first. That may be a stetch but creates this weird competition. I will be contributing because I get more info from this site then anywhere combined and appreciate everyone's generosity.

That will be fixed. Ryan mentioned that earlier that when use these programs, everything is turned on so he has to go back and reprogram it. We think that is stupid too to create a Jones mentality.

Good deal, no need for it to track how much we give as that's a personal thing. I think it is great to have an option to give back.

Just a friendly reminder to contribute when you can...at first it was obnoxious with the pay pal buttons and donate totals and now you can hardly see it (its in green within the green banner up top)...I just donated today and plan to once a month as long as I can remember to...
