Is there a separate class? If so that's awesome! Cause it would take me a bit to catch up to some of you guys![/QUOTE]

Yes there is a women's class. Not sure if there is two separate age classes for women. Nice job btw!

Awesome! And thank you I appreciate it :) I use to never address the importance of strength training, clearly since I couldn't even do a push-up or pull up but it's important to strength train and it's helped me a lot!

I know it's been said that as soon as anything besides your hands and feet touch then you're out, but does any 'resting' have to be in strictly the plank position only? Is arching your back or sticking your butt up to shake your leg(s) out acceptable? Just wanted to clarify before maxing out in my entry video. I'd hate to have all that work be disqualified for some reason!

Not to be picky or anything but your form looks a little off to myself. Just looks like your pushing up from your waist up instead of keeping a rigid plank throughout your body for the entire motion. I'm not a judge by any means and that's a big number just wanting to bring it up... I doubt I'll get close to it mainly bringing it up to see if that's legit or not.

Mike

Thanks mike that's why I did the side view. I'm trying to figure out make it look Better but I'm not Sure

I hear you man, I can see how it looks that way I think it's the camera angle but we will see if I need to put another vid out there no problem. I didn't really do any trial runs to see what the best view was. I thought an angled shot would show arm lockout and also plank position, maybe I shouldn't have done that.

No worries man I wasn't even referring to your video! :)
I haven't watched your video can't get it to play on my phone gotta wait till after work!

Got on a computer and watched your video finally. NICE work brother that was impressive! Didn't even really take advantage of resting in a "downward dog" position and you maintained the same hand width the entire time. 103? I'm impressed...

Mike

Yeah I'm not sure what the rules are on downward dog, plus this is all for fun anyway. I was happy to get to 100, and I think I didn't know what to do when I got there. If there is one thing I have learned from doing crossfit throw downs/local comps/box comps....it's this...there is always a bigger fish in the sea. So I'm happy with my number, but there are some serious bros out there.

I'd also like to know the answer to this question. I'm hoping to post a video soon!
