Saturday March 29th is the field day. Please see updated first post soon tonight. Location closest town is Maricopa, AZ.

Excited!

I bought another $300 worth of steel to set up a couple of “wind god” target arrays. It will be two arrays of three 7” x 12”targets side by side so you can see your misses because of wind. Thinking they will be good to put out at 500ish yards and 900ish.

I already have T posts at this spot and steel to hang from 300 to 1000. God left rocks for targets out to a mile.

PM me if anyone wants to help on this Saturday to set up and do some dry runs.

Shit, well I won’t be able to make it. I’ll be CA for my boys’ Judo tournament. Sucks, I want to go and meet some of us locals to network.

But, personally, I am hoping we get something fairly regular so I can get you guys to test some idea and gear for LS Wild.

This year, I want to do another in April and one in May, but make it an early start and lots of shade,

During the summer when fire restrictions kick in, I shoot out at Casa Grande range early in the morning.

If anyone has a spot we can shoot up north where is is not furnace temps, I would be down with. But, fire restrictions…

By August and September I am confirming loads for hunting, and shooting a bit.

For 2026, I am thinking it would be fun to set up a monthly shoot Jan-May.
