I will be bringing johny walker and some sour patch kids!

Ha! I always bring Sour Patch Kids. I'll be replacing the JW with some Crown though. My makeshift gear won't compare to most of your guy's stuff. But it fits into my budget. I am curious to glean a little knowledge from you guys though.

I like the idea of camping up above D Lake.

I will bring a Bikini Frame and a Duplex so you can try them out to see what one works best for you.

Ok, ok, this is just getting too much for me. All this talk of Bikini's, shelters, optics and the what not has me thinking I'm a fool if I don't try and join you guys just to see all this fine gear in action. Looking through optics in the store is a waste of time and what better oppt to feild test some than here???
I know this is kinda a Wash crew, but would you allow am Oregonian to join you?
I'm not as young & fit as you guys but my soul is.

Just speaking for myself, but I would say that any one that wants to come is welcome. I'm older and less fit as well, so I won't be the only one lagging behind.

I loved your slide show. Very cool.

If young and fit is a requirement, I'm out :)

Awesome slide show.

Everyone is welcome to go on this hike. The cool thing about this site to me is the way everyone treats each other. I expect the hike to be no different.

Cool guys, Thanks. I'm very interested to see first hand some of these cool shelters, packs and lightweight gear. And I just returned from the Chelan-Leavenworth area and found the area beautiful and much like the EagleCaps of NEO where I'm from. Can't wait to get up on top of those peaks. But I have to admit, I normally sit a saddle. My gear is not nearly as high tech and my pack will probably weight twice yours. A large part of this hike for me will be learning from all you.

I just have one question...... normally the mules carry our 2L bottles of mixer for Seven&7. What do you guys use for mixer? Is there a powder form of mixer? Maybe I'll just have to switch over to fireball for this hike. he, he.
Well, anyway, looking forward to it.

Awesome looking forward to meeting ya!

As far as mixer goes, I'll be bringing Pendleton so straight from the bottle is likely what'll happen... :)

If you're a vodka guy the crystal light powdered packets aren't bad with it!

Cool! Very interested to take a look at it.

Hum, cider packs & Fireball....kinda a cinnamon apple pie recipe w/ a kick! Uhmmm sounds tastey.
Speaking of Apple Pie.... I need to mix some up. The Oregon Waterfowl Festival is this weekend, and it's kinda a tradition to pass a jar of that around.
