There’s quite a few Rokslide member barrels sitting in this table waiting for lathe time

Just curious if you found any differences in testing the two Labradar's side by side?

We did roughly 40 shots from various rifles with velocities ranging from 2500 to 3200+ fps....the largest difference on a single shot was 5 fps. Most were 2 fps or less. My buddy's Labradar is more than a year old. I just got mine for Christmas. Both seem to work very well and very consistent and cool to see they both read very close to each other...just needed to have a Magnetospeed V3 on the end the barrel and shoot through a Oehler 35P to really cover our basis. :)

If you zoom in on the picture you can see that there is roughly a 2 fps difference on that particular shot.

Mike are you going to be doing another round of group buys in the future?

Nothing planned yet. Should have a new website going live in a few weeks and if I run any specials you’ll see them on there and I’ll announce here!

Here's mine. Gun unloaded 7.5lb (I don't know the break down of barreled action vs the stock but I presume ~36oz on the stock so likely 5.25lb on the barrelled action. That sound right mike?). 20oz scope and rings tag it to 8lb-14oz, loaded it'll be ~9lb for a 24" stout barrel with muzzle brake on a regular steel action and sporter fill mcmillan. Works for me. :)

The throat on this looks to be a perfect match for the hammer bullets 181gr hunter I was planning on trying, touching the lands has just the boat tail extending beyond the neck into the case and plenty of mag length to fit it.

Here's the barrel versus a factory 7-08 tikka with the actions lined up.

Been a good week. Full of cerakote work, action blueprinting and stock bedding not to mention finishing out a few other builds.

Brakes showed up today, waiting for more cutting fluid from PTG (ordered 10 days ago, finally shipping tomorrow....) to get back to the chamber work but the rest of these builds will be going out shortly!!

Here’s a 300 Win I finished up today

Any 22cal barrels for a .223AI floating around in the mix? Can't wait to see how mine turns out. All those builds are looking great.

Life has been hectic but finally got a short range session in with mine, nice solid shooter. Similar experience to Luke's in that a wide increment charge ladder shot very well.

I was mainly shooting for velocity readings to figure out a suitable max charge for this combination. I wasn't shooting sloppy but left a little on the table admittedly in terms of aiming, wasn't anal about the last 1/4" or so of cross hair placement for each shot. So with that in mind a 1" 5 shot group at 200yd that had a 2gr spread in powder charge makes me quite optimistic about what this combination will do with actual loads shot for groups (would have been a 7shot across 3gr spread in powder charge if that 66gr was in the group, not sure if I pulled that one off hand). I was cleaning every 3rd shot as well (the red ones are the first shot after cleaning so could account for those flying at times, the 66gr is still off though).

Definitely some potential there!

Here’s another one just dropped off at UPS!
