I had a fun experience I’d like to share .
I got to J and J LLC Outfitters Friday , I was the last to arrive .
The guide asked want I was going to shoot and I said my 6.5 PRC .
I wasn’t, I just wanted to see his reaction. It wasn’t good , lol.
I asked if he had seen any evidence of people using smaller caliber weapons for Elk .
He said no . So I mentioned the RS trend toward smaller caliber and I might’ve mentioned RS a few other times .
Well , two of the other hunters were from a sport /hunting / sport drink company , very nice guys , picked up it , and started calling me Rockslide Bob , all in fun .
So I told them I’d start a post so they could join in the fun , You guys here ?

Tho, I think he has atleast convinced his cousin/uncle in Appalachia that he doesn't actually need a 300 win mag to kill a deer, he's gotten him down to a 300wsm.
