Anyone haveing any luck pushing the 143 ELD-X bullets to respectfully speeds with Reloader26? I have seen a threads on the Internet with this combo but can’t seem to find any published data on this pairing.

I push the 143's 3040fps with 58.8gr RL26 out of a 6.5 GAP 4s

I run 2855 av with 48.0 gr of 26 in my Tikka t3x 6.5 creed at 2.850 col witch is .020 from riflings. It averages slighty under 1/2" 3 shot groups.
I could push a little harder but this load works well with no pressure signs and good case life. My barrel is 24 3/8".

I put some 143gr ELD-X's infront of R26 in my 6.5X55 T3 superlite. 51gr and a RP primer will get you to ~2990fps a F210 ~3020fps. Groups were ok at 1-1.25 moa. R23 really kicks ass in the sweede 2860fps and 5 shots under 0.5 moa. Try both, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I’ve pushed 130 jlks over 3320 out of my 6.5 gap but settled in on a load at 3265 rl26 is a great powder which produced quite a bit more speed than several other powders I had tried

I have a 6.5 CM in a Barrett FC with a 21" barrel. With rl26 I'm getting 2800 with the 147 Hornady, 2850 with the 140 Berger. Also look at rl16. I'm getting 2730 with the 140 Berger and 2900 with the 130 Berger. Rl16 has been extremely accurate in mine. I haven't had any rl23 to try.

Right on!! I have been having great luck with RL-26 and the 6.5 CM for about 18 months now. My 18" Barrett is shooting 147s at 2725 fps and 24" CTR 143s at 2905 fps. Great temp stability. Used the same velocity I used at 60 degrees when I shot at -50F this winter and first and second round hits back to back at 700+ yards. As well. Yes only shot twice cause I was getting cold cause I wasn't dressed for it and merely wanted to say I shot at -6500' DA.

Well that's encouraging. Trying to decide between the 140rdf and 147eld to shoot (on steel) in my new build. Can you give us some more details on your load data? the Litz numbers for the 147 are surprisingly low compared to what I would expect from that bullet? What BC numbers are you using?

Don't have a 6.5 CM, but I love rl26 in .243, .308, .270, and .280AI. It's my new favorite powder.

Sorry to kick an old thread. Any of you tikka ctr guys want to help me with this? Trying to figure out where to start and where max would be.

tikka 6.5cm ctr 20" barrel running suppressed ultra 7
Lapua LRP
Fed 210m
RL26 (sounds like 46 grains might be a max load?)
143 eldx (probably 147 eldm as well)

Been shooting 143's and 147's over 41.4 grains of h4350. Started to see pressure at 41.6grains not much but enough not to chase it.

2775 FPS with 47gr RL26 and 143eldx out of a 24” tikka. Definitely not max, but shoots half MOA and my brass is on 6 firings and still going strong. Hornady brass and CCI200 primers

I'm getting ~2900 with 46.6gr of RL26 with Hornady Brass and Fed 215M primers with only a 21" barrel out of my 6.5 PRC. No pressure signs at all, could definitely push 3000 if I wanted to.

Out of my 24” Tikka I am getting 2960 with 49 grains using a 135gr Berger, Starline brass, and CCI BR-2 primers. I have only shot it out to 300 yards so far but its holding 1/2 moa or a tad less depending on the day.

Well worked up from 43.5 to 46.9. No pressure signs and got some really good groups at 46.3, 46.6. and 46.9. Jumped my FPS up almost 100fps from h4350. I might turn it up a little or leave it. seems like a good node. Groups were about 0.220-0.430 at 100. 46.9 started to get bug hole which was cool must have pulled one.

tikka ctr 6.5cm 20" Tbac ultra 7
lapua lrp
