I think it would be rad if some stir the pot law enforcement person with jurisdiction wrote a warrant for Gage (sp?). If Rittenhouse was found to have been lawfully defending himself, then that means probable cause exists that he was facing a deadly threat. I have read a lot of leftwing articles denouncing armed folks roan mg the streets, if Rittenhouse was one from their perspective, Gage was.
It's a sad state of affairs when it's considered stirring the pot for Gaige to be charged. I was watching some of the testimony and scratching my head the whole time, wondering why he wasn't charged. There must be a reason, but I'm not knowledgeable in American law. Was there a deal of some sort for testimony? If so, he ended up being the star witness for the defense and a bad deal for the prosecution.

Why did the Curfew charges have to be waived by the Judge? Were any of the other individuals involved charged with that?

The depths of hypocrisy in this case are astonishing. I feel for you guys having to live thru this and hope the Canadian public doesn't follow this path, anymore then it already has.

I haven't read anything about one. Logically, he would be a dumbass to have testified without one and I would think anyone would tell him to have invoked the fifth amendment for some of his testimony. I believe I read excerpts of cross examination bringing up his lawsuit against the local government, so I would think if an immunity agreement were in place it would have been fair game to also bring up.

Overall, I wholeheartedly believe the defense attorney commenting in how the prosecution had a win at all costs mentality. That sickens me, and I have seen it too many times. Law enforcement, prosecutors, defense teams, and the media should simply be gatherers and presenters of information. When a hat gets hung on a certain position, it causes folks to have to apologize or do weird stuff out of desperation grasping at victory.

Some might be too young to remember the LA riots of 92.
Korean business owners and friends of business owners grabbed guns and headed to protect property. They exchanged gunfire with thugs and did a fine job of keeping their neighborhoods from turning to ash. After what I saw from the trial, the owner of the business asked for help to keep his from burning down.
The police bailed on the Koreans and the business owners of Kenosha. Happens every night in Portland.
This is America. Once tax paid LE refuses to respond, the mindset shouldn't be "let it burn, it's only property".
It took Koreans to teach us that.

As much as he needed shot, gaige is NOT a felon. Those charges were expunged. Don’t be like the left and keep running with heresay without checking the facts.
As soon as I heard his name was Gaige I knew the right person got shot. I was surprised he didn't identify as they/them.

I agree.
Should he be called a paramedic since he wasn't on duty with an agency? Is/was he actually employed as a paramedic?

I was living outside L.A. in 92 at 16 years old, watched the riots happen live on T.V. after school. Some friends and I gathered together and brought WHATEVER weapons we could muster up together and prepared ourselves to protect our neighborhood.......nothing ever happened near us,but we all had the same mindset as Kyle, stop them at ALL costs.

It's a said state of affairs when so many "so-called" Americans want people charged and found guilty based solely on public opinion instead of facts and evidence. That's pretty messed up, especially since public opinion could change with the wind, and then they're charged and found guilty based on the same concept they advocate for. Logic and reason is fleeting these days.

Expunged…. So arrested, found guilty, then later they sealed the record of it happening. **Was a felon** more appropriate? How long ago was is expunged? I hope not right before Kyle’s trial…

What's a "so called" American? You either are or your not; aligning with your personal idealistic view point will not change that fact.

Gaige was in court on DUI charges a week before Kyles trial. Charges DROPPED ON A TECHNICALITY. The DA couldn’t have his star witness show up in jailhouse orange.

1) Half of this country is willing to side with violent pedophiles, wife beaters, and burglars in order to get a "win" against their political enemies.

2) The mob is powerful enough to corrupt our justice system to its core by intimidating a jury.

3) Resisting the mob, no matter how justified, no matter how well documented and clear it is that you acted in defense of your life, will result in you either being killed or convicted of murder.

4) The entire media industry, both traditional and social media, is willing to lie and suppress discussion in order to further their political goals.

5) People in the highest positions of power in our country, up to and including the President, are willing to slander people as "white supremacists terrorists" when they dare to resist the mob.

Gage made the rounds on the MSM news shows after testifying and stated that he was an unarmed victim and a peaceful medic. No one questioned his obvious lies. Some news orgs are still pushing that all the victims were unarmed black demonstrators which is an obvious lie.

I worked the riots and I vividly remember that many civilians were armed protecting their property. Was not an issue and police encouraged them to defend themselves.

Expunged charges don't get you off the NICS hit list..
Either way, he was a previous CCP holder. I guess what I don’t know is was it truly expired or revoked. And if his previous charges were serious enough, how did he get it to begin with if those charges don’t come off the nics list? There’s a million questions just surrounding that guy.

Because in many states the state LEO issue CCPs.. there's a million holes in our FF laws and depending on the federal gov to fix them is a exercise in futility.

There's a massive gray area in felonies that were dismissed/expunged, now they're adding misdemeanors... it's a mess.

It's a an all out assault on 2nd amendment rights.
