Rimfire scope that will take a beating?

My .22 Mag resides in my SxS all summer long, my current scope is always losing zero. Anyone have a recommendation for a scope that won't lose zero?

May be hard to locate these days, but the Weaver 4x32 shotgun scope from several years ago comes to mind. Seems like the parallax was set to 50 yards. They have a pretty good track record for maintaining zero for a set-and-forget option.

The swfa ultralight would be a good option if you don't need your 22 to double as a boat anchor. A bit less durable, but much lighter and still semi-drop test approved. It also comes in a rimfire variant (if they ever get them)

I really like the SWFA ultralight 2.5x10 on one of my .22s. The other has the SWFA 10x. Both are excellent options.

I went with a SWFA 6x for the wider field of view and to match the scope on my 223.

My .22 does double duty as a trainer I can use at home and a varmint rifle, so I like the 6x in the event I have a close shot or something is moving.

Cant go wrong with any of the SWFA’s though and no better scope in that price range.

My first thought was the Ultralight, but they are out of stock. Will probably slap the 10x on and try that out.

I had a bdc ultralight on a 22 and found that there was more parallax than I would like, I'm not too picky and it was too much for me, so make sure if you get one it is the rimfire version. I have a SWFA 6X on my favorite 22 and really like it.

Yes - put a real scope on there, ditch the rimfire scope idea.

If you are familiar with air rifles you know a break barrel springer will destroy most scopes. Any scope listed as "airgun rated" will be durable. Nikon used to make a nice rim fire scope that was "airgun rated" but I think they are out of the scope business.

I have a 20+ year old Simmons ProAir 4-12x40 (basic duplex, nothing fancy) that just won't die.

I have a tract 22 scope that has stayed zeroed after several years of snowmachine rides.

Spring piston air rifle scope is what you want. Beeman Blue Ribbon made by Hakko is the best of the best, but hard to find. I’ve got one on my 10/22 truck gun with over two million miles on it without loosing zero.

That is what I have on my CZ 452 Varmint and it works well.
