Rifle WML

In the market for a WML set up for an AR15. Rifle will be used for night shoots and home/property defense. Been looking at modlite and surefire. Any other recommendations for a light that is durable and can be depended on.

I have had good luck with arisaka defense lights.

Just named your big 3 already. SF duelfuel turbo and ModLite of your choice. Arisaka + Malkoff are very well respected.

Cloud Defensive had good stuff but heard their company pretty much imploded so idk if I’d go there.

Gone through inforce, streamlight, and surefire. So far i prefer the Surefire.

I have a modlite and a Surefire scout DF. There are some things I like better about the Modlite. Mostly beam and size. I would run either one with confidence. Performance gains will be minimal no matter which you choose.

Have used Surefire Scout lights and Cloud Defensive REIN extensively. From SF, definitely the dual fuel Turbo. I have experienced better consistency in performance from my Cloud lights though. It has not been uncommon to see SF light heads flicker and dim when using their remote switches, sometimes switching to an aftermarket Unity or Modbutton can remedy that…but then you’re into the system for significantly more than a Cloud REIN.

Edit to add: been a customer of Cloud Defensive since the OWL. Always been a pleasure dealing with them.
