Rifle too long?

Dudes carried 8 ft long rifles to kill each other for centuries. You'll be fine with a 29in overall barrel length. You'll get used to it.

I’m in agreement with you there. I have some 26in barrels with a 9in can attached to it and it doesn’t bother me one bit. Got a couple shorter barrels too but I’m not going out of my way to chop barrels down.

I think you'll end up being just fine but if you want to, you can have TBAC cut the barrel down to your preference and rethread it for $120. Just had them do that (and facemount a CB brake to it) a couple weeks ago to a rifle I had lying around.

Unrelated: As I say to every single person I encounter who hunts from box blinds, buy and use an Armageddon Gear Gamechanger bag. No pun intended but it really is a gamechanger for box blind hunting if you're shooting 100+ yards.
