Rifle sling suggestion...

I just bought this to try out. Slimline version of the claw.

I have the regular Claw as my QD, but have a few guns with sling swivels and bought the slimline to test in a few weeks.

I like my bino harness high but you at 6'5" and me at 5'7", you definitely have more real estate to play with! Lol. Maybe I'll have to mess around with it again and see if I can make it work. Lots of people seem to really like it.
If it helps I leave the sling long enough for my rifle to hang as low as possible without touching my legs as I'm walking, probably have the stock about touching my belt buckle when the rifle is flat across me.

This is the sling I use on everything now. I have used the regular wide one, the contoured one, and the thin one. The thin one is best for me. Especially when wearing a pack.

is this "the claw" being referred to? can you replace front and or rear with the pushbutton swivels?

That's one of them. There's the original, the contour that you posted and the slimline.

Appreciate all the input and providing the reference… going to give this or the Montana sling in my first rifle I just picked up

Sloan, Butler Creek and Quake seem to be the ones I see the most. I tried a sling this year and it's fine to and from a stand but to carry all day on a spot and stalk type hunt...it sucks. I'll get the name later and post it.

I hate slings so I just use the kifaru gun bearer.
Gun bearer sucks too Just have to chose your suck
Ooh yeah- pick the best of the worst to have the least amount of suck is always a fun proposition. I love out west so will also be doing spot and stalk… no sitting in a tree stand posted up
