@sowastrong finished the stock and this build is complete. Thanks to Crossley for answering all the questions , as well as Shrek, Millard, Luke, and all the others.

SWEET!!!!!

So how does it shoot?
Shoots great. I am by no means a great rifle shooter. But this thing makes it pretty easy, as long as my phone tell me what to do, and I do it. I'm quickly learning windage is where a person earns their stripes.

Going out tomorrow. Maybe I will learn how to use this shot group app I have..

Bout damn time - ha! Looks good man except for the bolt on the wrong side. What did she end up weighing without the scope?

Weights:
McMillan Game-scout Edge fill Stock after bedding: 27.5 oz
Tikka Stainless action with bolt: 27 oz.
Seekins Brake: 3.5 oz
HCA Carbon Barrel 27" Blank: 49.1 oz
Trigger/Action screws: 3.1 oz
Tikka Factory bottom metal: 2.6 oz
EGW 20MOA Rail 1.9 oz

So a bit under 7.20 lbs with out the NXS 5-25 NPR

That looks sweet! That stock is bad ass!
He did great work on the stock. After I saw his twist on the camo pattern on Ryan's stock from the 300 build thread I figured he could work some magic on mine as well. Where I live, I have to ship to anyone I choose to do that type of work.... I will be sending him another stock in the future...

So who is responsible for putting the bolt handle on the wrong side?

Seriously, looks fantastic and coming in at that weight is just incredible.

A titanium/carbon 300 wm would be the next rifle I build if I was that kind of cash..... Or hook up.

Let's blame Randy. He doesn't get enough of a hard time on here.

Haha, I bet! How did you get an HCA barrel, hasn't he been closed for a few years now?
He is not closed, quite the opposite I think. This rifle was completed and in my hands winter of 2015 if I remember right. I finally got around to getting the stock dresses up.

I think Mike is full swing on barrels and builds now. This gun is a shooter so I have little concern about his ability to build a rifle, at least a semi custom such as this. But my conclusion comes from a sample of 1.

Oh I wasn't saying he isn't a good builder, I just thought I remembered him closing up shop. He used to be on here a ton and has disappeared so figured he was doing something else.

Nope, pretty sure he is still at it. I just tossing in some extra opinions / information on the build, nothing to do with a comment from you

He is still up and going. I have a buddy that is getting his build done by him.. I am in the works of getting some parts together to send to him to have him put everything together.
