Currently using a revic BLR10B (not the new ones) and have generally enjoyed them. With the newer stabilized binos coming out from sig and the general praise they seem to be getting I have been contemplating making the switch. I am primarily a mule deer hunter and elk when i draw a tag in WY (Western Nebraska home, bull tags are a once in a lifetime tag here).

Has anyone made the switch, and if so what are your opinion on the switch? The best option seems to be to get stabilized binos and a revic BR4, however that would generally exceed my budget. Are there any other comparable ballistic rangefinders out there that are solid? I imagine i wouldn't have much issue trading into a pair of 10x-14x HDX pros for my Revic, i just don't have a huge budget afterwards for another RF at this time.

The area we primary hunt is everything from prairie to canyon draws with a LOT of brush, fell trees and burns so I definitely can see the appear for the stabilization. I do not run a spotter and would like to avoid the additional weight, so 14x are pretty appealing for binos.

Debating the same exact thing....
I think it comes down to speed vs ease of finding game. What I will probably do is getting both and replacing a spotter with OIS binos. Hard for me to use a spotter much past 30x anyways.
