We have been in talks with Revic about bringing in their optics and tripods as we have found their gear very impressive. IMO, you'll be very impressed with their fluid head. Please give us a call, 516-217-1000, to discuss it. Thanks

Just ordered one of these to try. Has anyone had any experience with them on here? I can't find any reviews.

Anyone have any experience with this fluid head yet? Looks interesting!
I have been using one a bit this summer and spring. It's a solid head. I end up using their ball head more because I prefer it for glassing and shooting off the tripod. If I was only glassing, the fluid head is great.

I’ve heard Revics are just rebranded Leofoto’s. Any truth to that?

Does the Revic fluid head do anything the Sirui VA-5 doesn’t at $30 cheaper?

Wouldn't surprise me. There are a lot of tripods and heads that are imported/ rebranded.

Yeah, makes sense. How does the head compare to the VA-5?

Edit: I’ll say the actual spotter looks pretty similar to Maven — so maybe they’re using the same manufacturer.

The Revic is rated to hold 8.8 Lbs vs 6.6 on the VA5. Better for 85mm and higher scopes

The FH1 is a better built, stronger head can hold more weight. The VA5 is excellent. The only negative that is brought up is the spring in the VA5. If you don't tighten the knob it goes back to neutral

Not a huge deal but it looks like the Revic can be top loaded vs the va5 you have to slide the plates in or out of the front or rear. I might pick one up to compare with the va5.

The Revic also holds 8.8 lbs vs 6.6 on the Sirui. Call me at 516-217-1000 for special Rokslide pricing on both
