Revic BR4, Not Displaying Solution.

I have a brand new BR4 that I've been using for a couple weeks.
It is set up properly with multiple profiles and has mostly worked great.

However, it will randomly quit displaying the Solution. The yardage will display correctly, but the elevation and windage display will just show
"--- ---". I'll try it again 10 minutes later and it will be working again. It seems to be completely random, as I am not changing anything between working and not working.

Any clues as to what could be happening?

Change the battery, OFTEN. Seems ridiculous but mine does the same thing.

Still having the random issue of not displaying a solution. 30 minutes later it will work fine, after having not changed any settings.

seems like someone else was having a similar issue. Have you tried contacting revic? I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them.

I've been having the same issues. My BR4 wasn't giving me the correct MOA values. Then today my Revic app stopped working and wouldn't load. I called Gunwerks and was told I would need to delete the app and then reinstall it. I did that and then recreated my profiles. It worked. I'm now getting the correct MOA value on both the rangefinder and app.

The app wouldn’t work for me without service. It’s never done that before. Seems like they’re having difficulties with it. Sent them an email with no response.

I had to delete my app and reinstall and started working again. Seems like the latest update may have caused issues

Revic ended up replacing my BR4, which obviously had an issue. The new unit is working fine.
It took a while to get ahold of customer service as the contact I had there left Gunwerks and the new guy was significantly backed up on his workload. They were very helpful once we made contact.

I've left a few message for customer service to call me with no reply still. Thankfully updating the app has worked so far. I did have to reload all my load data though. Fingers crossed. Kind of frustrating this happens with such an expensive device.

Have you had this issue since your unit was replaced? This almost cost me a deer last week. It was a frustrating situation.

Interesting to hear it’s ongoing. I’m debating picking one up if I can find a sale here. Any regrets at this point due to these issues or any other?

So far I'm not sure. It seems more people have had good luck with theirs, rather than having these issues. I'm curious if AK has had any issues since having his replaced. When it works, it seems great. I just want reliability as well. The only other thing that is weird for mine is battery life. It seems to jump all over, even after installing a new battery.

No further issues whatsoever. Battery is consistent and solutions display as intended every time.

I recently returned mine after two weeks. Every time I adjusted the brightness I had to re-enter my cartridge profile. Then there was the ranging issues which I won’t get into.

So that caused me to focus on the app and use my old range finder for my hunt last week. Unfortunately, this revealed things on the app that just doesn’t make sense even after deleting and reinstalling.

Still hoping for a positive result, but I definitely have unanswered questions.

Hey guys I posted the other issue, that was resolved the next morning.

After one busy hunt season I can report 0 issues.

It ranges and provides a very accurate solution out to 1k yards. After 1k ish yards probably would need a second profile to get the dope right.

It eats batteries fast, carry a spare and the battery indicator does not work, at times it takes 2-3 seconds to get a range than it’s on quickly, I also keep Bluetooth off unless I am updating a profile to avoid any rogue updates etc… cheers
Overall I would buy it again and the app seems as good as strelok when strelok was still able to update.

Have you figured out why the Revic ops app gives different results for the calculator versus the table with the same weather and bullet profile? They haven’t replied to my emails.
