Swaro el TA work great as do the 10x42 (not the 10x50+) zeiss RF, sigs are in the mail so will be able to weigh in on those shortly.

My main reason for wanting RF binos is NRL hunter style matches, need a quick readout. Sig told me this morning minimum IPD on the Gen 2’s is 58mm. I had a buddy measure his Vectors this morning at 57.33. If the Revics don’t work for me I may try Leicas since they go to 56.

Nope. Bluebird sky day.

Had ranged 3100 the previous day.

Finally on my 4th attempt to contact someone I got an email back telling me to try 3 things I’ve already tried.

Let’s see if it takes another week + for someone to respond.

I’ve seen these posted on a few optic websites for $1000 off. That’s a killer deal for this bino if anyone is on the fence
I agree. Sent this deal to some friends. For those serious about being an efficient killer with a known good rifle, and who are well practiced, these binos are maybe the best tool you could have at your disposal.

I'm really curious as to why the sudden price reduction. Prior to this, sales were rare and they have been getting a lot of good reviews. Sales this week are common, but nearly 40% off is wild. A new product with better glass wouldn't surprise me. I've been very satisfied with the glass in mine. It's well above cheap glass and way better than some of the "cheap" RF binos I've looked through.

I was wondering the same thing. And the used market on them is toast now if anyone was trying to sell.

Right. I bought mine here lightly used and would still take a beating selling them. I don't understand marketing very well, but creating a "Vortex value" for your products is interesting. Hopefully this is a sign of better things to come. Revic/GW has really been driving the industry so I expect that'll continue.

I thought about getting a pair, but I already spent too much (if that was not the case, I would have a pair despite the below).

If I get a sample with glass that isn't clear to the edges I would be unhappy. My current Zeiss Conquests 8x42s are better than Vortex Razors 10x42s and save me time not having to pull out a spotter. Some of that is the improved resolving power of ahand held 8x.

I may regret not biting now in a few months, but if I get drawn for one of several hunts I'll have some specific gear needs to address, so shouldn't be over extending the budget at present, pack raft or Hilleberg or new spotter or something that slings more lead and air transport (if not clear, I'm trying hard to justify not picking up a set). I will probably not get drawn for anything, but gotta keep some dry powder.
