I might swap the swfa with the NXS i currently have on my rifle and put the NXS on the rifle in progress, I think I like the swfa 3-9 a little more than the 2.5-10 nightforce.

The other reason I didn’t get 2 is because of the implication of Ryan and crew having a scope built in the future, but hopefully the swfa are in stock consistently in the future

Hah! I certainly wouldn't mind the status upgrade! I've been around for 10+ years, I just do a lot of lurking. I'm very interested in the UM scope as well!

Got mine in yesterday evening and fondled it a bit. It’s nice but I think the 3-15 gen 2 is better. The 3-15 has much better feeling turrets and my eyes can’t tell a difference in glass. The only downside to the 3-15 is the magnification ring is backwards. Still super happy with the 3-9 for the price and will make a great optic for my 223 trainer.

I have a gen 1 3-15 and I love it. Never understood why the 3-9 is so beloved and the 3-15 rarely discussed.

I have been wanting to move my swfa 3-15 to my sage rat gun, and now I can. An nx8 would be awesome for a rat gun, but unless you live in sage rat country, it would be hard for me to justify.

I go east a couple times per year to shoot rats, and only use my 17hmr for the prime time (first 3hrs of daylight) and then i start walking the edges of the pivots and shoot my bow the rest of the day

The 3-9 will still be great for rats, that’s mostly what I have used in the past… a little more would be ideal, but unless you’re burning 10k rounds a year shooting rats every day, I would have a hard time spending over 2k on a rat scope

I don’t love the swfa 3-15 for an all around hunting scope, especially if there may be a new shooter behind the gun, but it will be awesome on my CZ
