Restocked SWFA 3-9x42 Gen 1

Did the people that shipped it usps not have the option to go with ups for a $1 more?
I didn’t see that option on my order. When I went to checkout and inputted my address it was $10.95 shipping, no options to use UPS or speed it up at a higher cost. Maybe because I got 10% off with the cyclops code??

Yeah, I kind of know better but the kid in me will track it 3-4 times daily until actually ships. Tracking info shows ups doesn't have package yet..... still hopeful. I paid a little more to ship w ups as usps always drops the ball and is impossible to deal with. I work in customer service and our shipping department always pulls this shit. generating a label and sending tracking info to customers that just sits for days sometimes weeks only creates more animosity in customers. hoping the wait is less than 2-3 years......

Mine had multiple options for shipment. USPS was $9 and UPS was $10 but I’m not that far from them in Oklahoma so maybe that’s why.

I didn't pick my carrier on my 2 year old backorder, and even though I got a USPS tracking # Monday it still shows USPS awaiting package...hopefully its just USPS. My luck mine never got handed off and they'll be out of stock before they figure it out. Giving them until tomorrow.

I received my backorder yesterday. Still the same ol' stiff magnification ring. Ive had some luck with monstrum metal throw levers from the jungle website, but they are big and sharp and heavy.

Does anyone have a better solution for something to grab onto and twist the mag ring when its cold and stiff? Tape? Knurling? Something to screw into it?

MKM throw lever works good for me but you have to have enough room between the mag ring and the ocular housing for it to hang over slightly so it will depend on where you have to have the diopter set.

A giant cable tie works for me, they stay on quite well and the nub is a good size. They aren't perfect, but this isn't life and death, either.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have recently tried one of these to no avail. Works great on my 5-20, though. But I have my ocular turned nearly all the way in. Plus, the ID seems big on 3-9, but fits on 5-20.

Il try this one. I just assumed that because the mag ring tapers towards the front that it would slide off.

I think they are model specific. At least that’s what inferred from ordering them on eBay.
Also these are kinda bulky but work good on scopes I couldn’t find a better option for.

I know what you are saying and had that concern. Like I said, I wouldn't trust my life to it, but I have 2 and they have both behaved.

It looks like you are correct. When I ordered via their website, the only option I saw was "HD Series Throw Lever" but now I see there is a different choice for 3-9. Or maybe I missed it before.
