Replicating a factory load

I have never been able to achieve the velocity on the 300 WSM silveretips that the factory ammo can produce without overpressure issues and in all fairness, even the factory loads look over pressured to me. No idea what powder they are using in those loads.
Sometimes with factory WSM loads it seems like they are getting away with colder primers. I shoot a ton of WSM and over the years I have pulled factory ammo and reloaded it with my bullets and powder, but still using the factory primer and found that my own loads with identical cases and magnum primers pressured out way sooner. As best I could guess, some of the factory loads were using large rifle primers.

I am using Large Magnum Rifle primers in my loads. Maybe that is the case in my situation?

I am 250FPS slower using IMR 4064 on my 150 grain silvertip loads. Which is a HUGE loss of FPS in my opinion and I am borderline pressure issues.

Having said that, those factory silvertip 150's has FLAT primers on them. Know that. lol

thanks for the manual. Barnes says to max out at 46.3 grains of varget which is supposed to be pretty close to the staball match I have. Hodgdon was saying 50gr with staball match and 150 gr nosler BT.
I have a .308 Win. load of 46 grains of Varget with the 150 grain Nosler Accubond.
It is very accurate. Varget is using less powder than Staball, but is about $4 more per pound.
Where I’m from they are contemplating going mono on public land so I have developed a load for Barnes ttsx.
As far as the Barnes go I shoot the 130s in my rifle with TAC and get an average muzzle velocity of 3178 fps.
Could not get a good group with those and Varget, and they had a MV of 2925 fps.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t get a good group with your rifle, and Varget, just not a lot of info about Staball match that I’ve seen.

I hope you find what you’re looking for and it happens relatively easily as I know how frustrating it can get.
I will say this, I shot my Buck this season with my 130 grains Barnes ttsx load, at 270 yards and he was DRT.
Kinda high shoulder but not bad. When I processed the meat, you could eat almost all the way up to the wound. MUCH, much less blood shot meat surrounding the wound.
