I have a few arrows I want to get inserts out of. I used Gorilla super glue. Any one have any remedies to weaken the glue that won't harm the carbon?

Thanks guys!

Take the nock out. Put a drill bit inside of the arrow shaft, should not be tight and needs to slide freely. Put the nock back in.

With the insert end down, pointed to the ground, lift the arrow shaft upwards and then swing it back downwards. The drill bit should hit the insert and will drive it out after a few whacks. Do this in a safe direction so you don't launch the drill bit through a window, into someone's eye, etc.

I screw in a field tip, then carefully heat the field tip with a propane torch, on low setting, til it gets warm enough, then clamp the tip in a vice, pull and twist and it will come right out. . Takes a bit of trial and error and sometimes it's not hot enough so you have to give it a little more heat. . To much heat is a bad thing!

This is by far the best way to do it without damaging the arrow. Like Jason said, be careful because sometimes it comes out like a missile.
