Remove Sap from Trail Camera

So I am pretty new to using trail cameras. Apparently I set one up such that it got quite a bit of sap on it, and by quite a bit I mean literally covered in it. Any recommendations n the best way to get it off of the camera without damaging it?

Rubbing alcohol dissolves tree sap with the quickness. Sounds like you need a whole bottle and a roll of paper towels.
