Nice rifle!! It must be pretty close to the same as when mine was built - my serial # starts 66166 and the stamp code is "CL" looks like yours is El - congrats you will really like that rifle (y)

Yes, on the carbon copy build/ship sheet it says 23EL. Is that the date code for the build date?
The trigger pulls at exactly at 3lbs, with no creep. Really sweet trigger. I’m pretty excited to get it scoped and see how it shoots.

At that price you would be getting a super deal IMHO. They really are a great hunting rig, the barrel contour it unique to the KS and one of the best ever built.

Ugh, Thanks for reminding me how nice those rifles are! I should have never sold my KS 280….

Looks like a McMillan stock. If memory serves me correctly, the McMillan had the cheekpiece and the Brown Precision stocks did not.
