Reloading scale that doesn’t suck?

Those are junk. I have been through 4 of them due to electrical issues. I went back the older rcbs chargemaster 1500.

I went through 3 as well. I cannot express how defeating it felt when FA sent me back to back Intellidroppers which were DOA.

My Chargemaster Lite gets the job done.

Exactly. I'd rather spend $100 on a quality scale with few components to break than $150 on a cheap, low quality automated powder dropper. Plus I only reload 10-20 rounds at a time. If/when I go to a powder dropper, I'm going to buy a higher end model with a good reputation.

That's funny to me. Have had one for something like four years, game changer, still working near to perfect (only 1 in 100 was .01 off, all rest perfect, manually tested for exactness a couple months ago). App's a breeze as well. Sounds like your karma is the reverse of Fonsi, bummer that.

Ceeedmoor sports TX scale is amazing, I ran it for a long time before switching to Auto trickler V4.
I've been looking at both of these would be interested in your insight. Creedmoor Sports TRX-925 is advertised as accurate to 0.01 gn, Same as the A&D FX-120i. But it is $120 less...
Creedmoor Sports comes with a pan too.

I have the Hornady Auto Charge Pro, and it fluctuates +/- .3 gn. I will be shooting a damn good group and then get one that ruins everything.

But you did end up buying a FX-120i? Was that simply so that you could add the auto trickler?

My thought is to keep the Hornady, have it drop the majority of the charge and then trickle it up with a Dandy Trickler and a known 0.01gn accurate scale.

IDK how accurate are the beam scales? Maybe I should just do that.

You can throw on the Hornady and trickle to either FX or Creedmoor sports, the only reason y sold my CM was to go to auto trickler. You can use a Bean scale I guess, it just wasn’t my thing

My creedmoor drifts a bit. But it is obvious and just need to zero to get back. I’d say .03g or so. You notice it when the number without the pan isn’t the same. It is accurate to .01g. The drift doesn’t bother me much but for $125 more for the fx something to consider.

(Edit: just realized I said this 18 month ago :) ).
