“The 22 Creedmoor Project”

huntnful nice shooting! Stage 13 must have been a doozy! : )
Hahaha stage 13 was trashhhh. Super steep hill with 2 positions and two targets at like 900+ yards I think. I only got shots off at the first position. Timed out before I shot the second position 🤣

I normally make it as realistic as I can and shoot in the rain/snow.

Couple rounds wet by dropping in snow or set out in the rain.

Careful doing this. It’s going to wreck brass and at Rokslide standard 70,000 psi it’s not advised. Proceed at your own risk.
I was recently shooting on a wet, misty day. I rolled a couple of my 6cm/115dtac/lapua srp loads in the wet grass and fired them. I had fairly heavy bolt lift and minor ejector marks. Is this what you would consider water safe, or are you looking for normal function? This is a McGowen prefit. I had some 115 dtacs loaded for a different 6cm and just ran them through this new barrel. It started as 43gr 4831sc and shoots really well but I started getting pressure signs about 50rds in. I pulled the bullets and reloaded with 41 grains which eliminated pressure signs until cases were wet. I now have 100pcs of lapua srp brass shot through this barrel. I'm going to try h4350 and see if I can get a little more speed.

That is exactly what I would expect and call water safe. My goal for a wet round is function without becoming a locked up or popped primer. If you’re shooting a case with water droplets on it, it’s likely the bolt thrust alone from it not sticking to chamber walls creates ejector swipe.
