Hey guys,

I purchase the Palmetto State Armory GF3 AK-47. I have fired a bit of factory ammo through it; Norma, Winchester (repackaged PPU it seems...) and Russian HP's.

The Norma and Winchester gives me about 3-4MOA at 50 yards, which is fine for me. I know the AK isn't designed for accuracy. But the Russian HP's give me about 2MOA excluding the flyer. So potential is there.

I want to reload for it and have Berry's bullets for my target/training stuff and Hornady SST's for the defense/hunting stuff. I currently have AA 1680 and Shooters World Blackout (used for my 300BO).

I loaded up 24 grains of 1680 in the Berry's stuff, gave horrible accuracy, like 8MOA and 2350FPS.

I loaded up 25 grains of SW Blackout in the Berry's, gave bad accuracy, around 4-5MOA and a 6" flyer at 50 yards, 2190FPS.

I loaded up 27 grains of SW Blackout with the Hornady SST's, accuracy was not great. I had 3 shots at 2MOA, 4th shot 3" above that and 5th shot was 6" left. 2408FPS with that, so not horrible velocity.

Norma ammo gives me 2354FPS and Russian (steel case) HP's give me 2437 FPS and the best accuracy, about 2MOA without the one flyer (even with flyer, opens up to about 4MOA).

I would be stoked with 2MOA ammo. I would accept 4MOA as this is iron sight stuff. However, with my AR's, M1's and other iron sight stuff, I can get everything at 3MOA or better. Add scopes and they are MOA rifles. So I know my shooting ability is there.

But does anyone have any sort of load that worked for them with Berry's bullets? Everything I have shot is 123 grain bullets, factory and reloads. But it just seems to be kind of all over the place. I prefer to stick with these powders if I can, but if there is a better powder out there, let me know.

Thank you for any help you can provide!
