I took back 2 Jet boil SOL ti stoves yesterday. The conductor on the bottom had melted on one and fallen off on the other.

Anyway, I called Jet boil and they do not warranty those issues, so I headed to REI...... no go on return!

Sucks, but I understand why they would change to a year and feel that's more than enough time for 100% satisfaction/ return.

No wonder you switched to the MSR reactor...you literraly posted that review on the MSR reactor on the same day as I bought my jetboil Ti.

Gelton , take it back while you still can then send an email to Jetboil about returning it after learning about their crummy customer service and product durability.

Aron , how many boils do you think it was until they began to fail ? I know that you probably put a decade's worth of normal use on your gear each year so you will find the long term issues first. Thats a big part of why Kifaru gear is so good. Between Patrick and Aron you know that anything you buy has been put through h*ll before it ever gets to market.

I have been at REI for each of my needs and I always use to buy from them. At REI any item can be returned within 1 year of purchase by email or at the store. The items bought from REI outlet fall under 30 days return policy and so you can say it is a limited policy. You could contact the REI customer service center regarding your doubts on its REI Return Policy.
