REI Flash sleeping pad

Has anyone used the REI flash sleeping pad? Also, what Rvalue would you run in September at 10k ft?

Super narrow and slippery. If you can, try one at the store before you buy. I returned mine but they may have a new version out now.

I had one and it had multiple leaks. Went in to REI and one of their employees pushed me away from returning it for another one of their sleep pads due to leaking problems.

I've had good luck with their Air Rails sleeping pad. It's the one with the wings on the side, looks like a giant maxi pad.

Last year I got the higher R-value flash sleeping pad and it lasted 2 uses before leaks started popping up.

I bought one last year and it had a leak right out of the box. I exchanged it for a new one and it held air for a 9 day elk hunt in Idaho. It was plenty comfortable too.

I tried the r5 one this weekend. Held air both nights. I’m just a bit concerned with all the bad reviews
