Similar to many of you on here the passion to hunt in remote mountains consumes my mind to no end.
In 2019 I was fortunate enough to find myself in the remote western coastal mountains of BC. Weather was exactly as you'd expect. Unimaginable amount of rain.
After 8 days of hunting I found myself 30 yards from a beautiful Billy. My arrow hit exactly where I wanted and the goat jump straight off a cliff. To my surprise he landed exactly where I feared. A granit ledge that was 300 feet straight down. After days of trying to figured out a way to get to it, the outfitter and I called it off. To dangerous. Went home heart broken
Right when I heard the Canadian boarder was opening, I booked a hunt to head back up there.
The whole time I kept replaying the previous hunt in my mind. Hoping it wouldn't unfold the same same way.
Thank God it didn't. I was fortunate to get this respectable Billy.
By far the most amazing animal that I have hunted.
